Set up Sora to visualize a complex health protocol in 8 minutes

This guide configures OpenAI’s Sora to create short, private videos of a complex supplement or physical therapy plan.

Sora 2 (OpenAI) setup — Set up Sora to visualize a complex health protocol in 8 minutes

Written protocols for physical therapy or multi-supplement regimens can be hard to recall. A short video that shows the exact sequence of exercises or the timing of pills can improve adherence. This setup creates a private video reference for your personal health plan.

Before you start

  • An OpenAI account with Sora access
  • A written health protocol or supplement list
  • 8 quiet minutes

The steps

  1. 01

Structure your protocol as a sequence

First, break your health protocol down into a series of simple, distinct actions. For a PT routine, this might be "1. Lie on back, knees bent. 2. Raise hips to form a bridge." For supplements, list them in order of intake with dose and food context.

  2. 02

    Draft a detailed visual prompt

Translate your action sequence into a descriptive video prompt. Be specific. Instead of "do physical therapy," write "A person in their 40s with a realistic body type performs a glute bridge correctly in a brightly lit, minimalist room. The camera angle is a side view, showing the full range of motion. Photorealistic style."

  3. 03

    Iterate on the generated video

Generate the video and review it for accuracy. Pay close attention to form for exercises or details for supplements. If the model misinterprets an action, refine your prompt with more pointed visual language—for example, "hips are fully extended at the top" or "takes one capsule from an amber glass bottle."

  4. 04

Use video for Ledger and Protocol layers

Once accurate, save the video to your personal health record. This clip now serves as a visual component of your Protocol—a clear, repeatable instruction set. It also acts as a Ledger entry, documenting the exact intended execution of your plan for future reference.

Honest note

Sora can generate anatomically incorrect or unsafe movements if the prompt is not precise. It is not a substitute for a physical therapist or clinician. For any rehabilitative exercise, always have a professional confirm your form. The model is for visualizing a known, safe protocol, not for creating a new one.
